Cameroonian tech entrepreneur and businesswomen, Rebecca Enonchong is the founder and CEO of AppsTech, a global provider of enterprise application solutions serving clients in over 50 countries across Africa, Europe and North America.

Enonchong founded AppsTech in 1999, and under her stewardship, the company has attained steady growth and has over 350 employees.

According to company website, AppsTech, is now an Oracle Platinum Partner as well as a SAP Partner and offers enterprise software solutions, including the implementation, training and application management services for companies and clients around the globe.

Prior to her founding the company, Enonchong, worked for the Oracle Corporation, the Inter-American Development Bank (IaDB) and had held senior positions with the Washington Business Group and Hyatt Hotels.

Enonchong is heavily involved in the promotion of the African brand, and in the proliferation and spread of technology on the continent. She is a serving member of the board of VC4Africa, the largest online community dedicated to entrepreneurs and investors building companies in Africa; she is the founder and Chairperson of the Africa Technology Forum, a non-profit organization also working to promoting technology in Africa and has served on the United Nations Women Global Advisory Committee on the Digital Divide and the UN ICT Task Force.

She is an alumnus of the Catholic University of America, where she earned both her Bachelor of Science and a Master of Science degrees in Economics.

Rebecca Enonchong has been a recipient of multiple awards in recognition of her work and accomplishments which include: The 2001 African Entrepreneurship Award; she was named a Global Leader for Tomorrow in 2002 by the World Economic Forum of Davos, Switzerland; has been featured in prestigious journals and papers like the Wall Street Journal, the Washington Post, and Fortune Magazine and in April this year, was named to the WIE Power60 List.
