Mariama Levy is the founder and CEO of Verdi Consulting based in Mclean, Virginia. Ms. Levy founded the company in 2002, and under her stewardship, Verdi Consutling, had by 2011 attained 1,181 percent growth during the period 2009-2011., and revenues of over US$ 4.2 million for the year 2011.

Verdi Consulting is an accounting and management consulting firm with expertise in federal accounting and reporting, development and implementation of financial management systems, tech integration and regulatory requirements. According to the company’s website, Verdi Consulting is a “woman-owned, small accounting, financial management, and information technology enterprise solutions firm that provides support and consulting services for the federal, state, and local governments in addition to providing auditing, and systems support to large companies.

Levy has more than 14 years of experience in federal accounting and IT consulting, prior to founding Verdi Consulting, she had worked with accounting firm KPMG.

Mariama Levy is an alumnus of the Heriot-Watt University, Edinburgh, Scotland, where she earned her Bachelor’s degree in accounting and finance
