Profile: Abasiama Idaresit founder and CEO of Wild Fusion

Abasiama Idaresit (pictured), is the founder and CEO of Wild Fusion– a digital marketing agency servicing some of the world’s biggest brands operating in Africa.

Idaresit founded the company in 2010 on a very modest budget (US$250) and under his stewardship the company has grown remarkably and is on track to generating slightly over US$10 million in annual revenues this year.

The company’s clients include: Samsung, Unilever, Visa, Vodafone, Nigeria’s Diamond Bank, Samsung, Pepsi as well as several large Pan-African corporations and has operations in Nigeria, Ghana and Kenya and is ontrack to expanding to six other African countries in the next 18 months.

The rapid growth of Wild Fusion attracted the attention of Google, the search enging company has partnered with Wild Fusion, and it eventually became the first Nigerian company to become a Google Adwords partner; and Google’s first Adwords certified partner in West Africa.

Abasiama Idaresit is an alumnus of the London School of Economics, where he earned his degree in Information Systems and Management. After he graduated, he returned to Nigeria in 2008 determined to use the internet to change how things were done on the continent, and to better the lives of his fellow Africans. As his company Wild Fusion continues to grow, he and the company are participating in creating jobs employing Africans and empowering African brands. Iderasit, 34, is a trend setter and is listed on Forbes as one of the ten African Internet millionaires to watch.
