Obama’s grandmother hurt in road accident

U.S. President Barack Obama’s grandmother sustained bruises when the car she was travelling in rolled along a highway in western Kenya at the weekend.
Hospital authorities said Sarah Obama, 90, was in shock when she was brought in but was treated and discharged to an unknown location.
The accident which took place on Saturday night at about 9pm local time (13:00 EST) is said to have occurred after the driver of the saloon car lost control while trying to overtake another at Otonglo on the Kisumu-Busia highway.
