Morehouse College honored John Hope Bryant, Founder, Chairman, and CEO of Operation HOPE, with the prestigious “Candle Award” at its 37th Annual “A Candle in the Dark” Gala. The event, celebrating African American excellence, raised US$6.8 million for student scholarships.

A visionary leader in financial empowerment, Bryant is a bestselling author, entrepreneur, and advocate for economic inclusion. As founder of The Promise Homes Company, the largest minority-controlled institutional-quality rental housing owner in the U.S., and Operation HOPE, the nation’s leading nonprofit for financial literacy, he has transformed countless lives.
