Grand Slam Track, a newly formed track league created by former world record holder Michael Johnson, is gaining momentum with the recent appointment of Robert F. Smith, the chairman and founder of Vista Equity Partners, to its board of directors.

Smith’s remarkable financial success is attributed to his proven ability to consistently generate high returns for his investors.

In addition to his business accomplishments, Smith is well-known for his philanthropic endeavors. He co-founded the UNCF Sylvia M. Young Scholarship Program, donated US$20 million to the National Museum of African American History and Culture, eliminated the student loan debt for Morehouse College’s graduating class of 2019, and served as an executive producer for “The GOAT,” a television series that delves into Floyd Mayweather’s career, among numerous other initiatives.

In 2019, Vista Equity Partners was recognized as the fourth-largest enterprise software company, ranking just behind Microsoft, Oracle, and SAP.
