Tuesday, May 28, 2013

The Magic Johnson Bridgescape, a charity organization that was founded by basketball great and hall of famer, Earvin “Magic” Johnson to provide students who have dropped out or are at-risk of dropping out of school, with a second chance at completing high school, opened a new charter school in Savannah, Georgia.

The Magic Johnson Bridgescape learning center will be operated by Provost Academy, a state-chartered specialty school, which opened its first Bridgescape center in Atlanta in September 2012 and a second in Macon in February 2013.

The center is located at 6001 Chatham Center Drive, Suite 350, and applications for admission are being accepted.

The Magic Johnson Bridgescape offers a student-focused program that is tuition-free and provides an opportunity to earning a high school diploma at a pace suitable to an individual’s schedule, lifestyle, and learning needs.
