Lilly Endowment Grants $25 Million to Thurgood Marshall College Fund for HBCU Capacity Building

The Thurgood Marshall College Fund (TMCF) has secured a US$25 million grant from Lilly Endowment Inc. to enhance its capacity and support the growth of historically Black colleges and universities (HBCUs).
The funding will drive Project HBCU Capacity Building: Maximizing HBCU Performance Through Investments in Research, Operations, and Innovation, focusing on infrastructure improvements and fostering innovation at member schools.
TMCF aims to strengthen student support and enable campuses to pursue underfunded initiatives, ultimately driving operational excellence and institutional growth.
