Jamaica: Herbert Thompson names Electoral Commission chairman

The chancellor of the University College of the Caribbean, Dr. Herbert Thompson has been appointed he new chairman of the Electoral Commission of Jamaica.
Thompson replaces Errol Miller who stepped down in November last year.
He has served as the Electoral Advisory Committee and subsequently and has been a tertiary institution administrator for the last 20 years.
