Ghana to pull out of IMF, has secured $3 Billion from China

The government of Ghana intends to pull country out of the International Monetary Fund (IMF) in a final bid to end moves by the agency to suffocate the US$ 3 billion loan his government wants from the China Development Bank (CDB).
The US$3.0 billion loan facility from the CDB would be utilized to reduce the infrastructural deficit of the country by undertaking a number of infrastructure projects in the oil and gas, road, rail, health, education, water and other sectors…
Ghana’s economy grew from 4% in 2009 to 13 % in 2012.
