Fortune ranks Howard University among pop MBA Programs for 2025

Howard University School of Business has achieved a significant milestone by being ranked No. 44 in Fortune’s 2025 list of Best MBA Programs, making it the only Historically Black College and University (HBCU) to earn a spot this year.
Fortune’s fourth annual MBA ranking arrives during a period of increasing demand for continuing education, as more professionals seek to enhance their skills in areas like artificial intelligence (AI) and data analytics within the business world.
Howard’s School of Business has been a trailblazer in Washington, D.C., becoming the first business school in the capital to receive accreditation from the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business.
In addition to its traditional full-time MBA program, the school has expanded its online offerings, including a part-time online MBA and two new specialized programs: an online Master of Accountancy and an online Master of Finance.
