Dangote to invest up to $2.5 billion in undersea pipelines

Serial entrepreneur Aliko Dangote plans to invest US$2.2-2.5 billion in two 550 kilometer (342 miles) undersea pipelines running from Nigeria’s Niger River delta to the commercial hub of Lagos.
The pipelines will increase the amount of gas available in Nigeria from 28.3 million cubic meters per day (MMcm/d) to 113.3 MMcm/d, he said.
