Dangote Targets Fertilizer IPO and Kenyan Refinery Expansion

Nigerian industrialist Aliko Dangote said Tuesday he aims to list Dangote Fertilizer Ltd next year, telling investors in Nairobi he wants it “owned by the people.”
The company plans six production lines, due between late 2028 and early 2029, targeting 12 million metric tons a year.
Dangote spoke ahead of a groundbreaking in Lamu, Kenya, for a planned 700,000-barrel-per-day oil refinery. He said the group has also launched a shipping unit.
