Clearly Innovative: Black-owned firm builds official APP for National Museum of African American History and Culture

Clearly Innovative (CI), one of the Washington area’s leading digital and business solutions companies, built and launched the official mobile App for the Smithsonian’s’ new National Museum of African American History and Culture (NMAAHC) that opened on Saturday, September 24, 2016.
The App contains features to provide information about the museum and help visitors and as users.

The App which can be found as NMAAHC in Google Play and Apple ITunes, is available in English, French and Spanish.

As the official mobile vendors for the museum, Clearly Innovative created a cross platform mobile solution to enhance the museum experience. While it does not duplicate the actual visitation experience it does provide information about exhibits and key features of the museum’s location and its architecture. CI also designed the initial maps to be used for the museum opening.

According to the company’s Founder and CEO Aaron Saunders, CI’s creation of the NMAAHC app is another project that fits the company’s mission to serve the community through its products and education initiatives.
