Caribbean Airlines re-brands in bid to remain competitive

Acting CEO of Caribbean Airlines, Tyrone Tang, has said that the regional carrier is changing its direction to be more of a customer centric company. This will involve incorporating new brand themes which are: “We Care; We Connect; We Create; and We are the Caribbean”.
According to Tang, the new themes will be introduced to every aspect of the business, including the culture, operations and values, both internally, and externally. Other strategies that have been suggested are improving the connectivity on all the carrier’s routes and maximizing revenue, while maintaining a more friendly customer oriented approach.
Caribbean Airlines is in the process of upgrading its loyalty program and attaching loyalty rewards. The carrier is also working to optimize its fleet utilization with a goal of making the airline the most competitive in the region.
“The road ahead offers tremendous opportunity for Caribbean Airlines to cement our place as the leading airline serving the Caribbean”, added Tang.
The carrier which was in 2006 will be marking its 10th anniversary in December this year.
