A groundbreaking initiative is underway to bring Black Americans back to Africa, spearheaded by a Black-owned construction company that plans to develop state-of-the-art sports arenas and luxury hotels in several African cities.

Smith Choates Holdings, LLC has joined forces with Urban Icon International in a partnership aimed at advancing technological innovation, community engagement, and economic growth across the continent.

As a U.S.-based organization, we are thrilled to take on such a significant project, and we anticipate expanding our efforts in the area. We’re also in discussions with various government officials about affordable housing and introducing solar energy solutions to Africa.”

The ambitious US$812 million project includes the construction of six cutting-edge multi-sports arenas paired with luxury hotels. These developments will be strategically located across regions such as Tanzania, Kenya, Mozambique, Uganda, and Cape Verde.
