President Obama’s job approval rating has hit an all-time low – and his chances of being re-elected have never been worse, a new poll says.
Only 44% of adults believe Obama is doing a good job – down 3 percentage points since July – according to an NBC News/Wall Street Journal poll released Tuesday.
The dominant issue is the faltering economy, particularly unemployment, which is stuck at 9.1%, and Obama needs to produce some fresh job creation ideas when he addresses a joint session of Congress on Thursday night.
