American doctors head to Barbados: Investment

A Denver-based medical investment company will open a hospital in Barbados in 2013 that it expects to be a center of medical tourism and an attractive workplace for doctors who have grown weary of insurance and government health-care regulations in the United States.
AWC Investments LLC signed a memorandum of understanding with the government of Barbados in July to build an $80 million hospital on 21.5 acres of Barbados’ north coast.
