5.1 magnitude earthquake rattles several Caribbean countries

An earthquake with a magnitude of 5.1 occurred south east of St. Vincent on Tuesday, the Trinidad & Tobago-based Seismic Research Center of the St. Augustine campus of the University of the West Indies (UWI) has reported.
It said that the earthquake, which occurred 12:56 am (local time) was located at Latitude: 12.35N; Longitude: 60.48W and was at a depth of 10 kilometers (6 miles).
The Seismic Center said that the quake was also felt 122 kilometers (76 miles) south east of Kingstown, Jamaica, 128 kilometers (80 miles) south west of Bridgetown, Barbados and 133 kilometers (83 miles), north, north east of Scarborough in Tobago.
According to the Seismic Center, there were no reports of damage, injuries or death as a result of the earthquake.
Last Friday, 2 earthquakes, including one with a magnitude of 4.4, rattled several Caribbean islands with the Seismic Center reporting that the first earthquake occurred south west of Dominica and the other south west of St George’s in Grenada and north west of Port of Spain in Trinidad. -(CMC)
