Emmanuel-Jones was born in Clarendon Parish, Jamaica, moved to Britain at the age of four and grew up in a deprived inner-city neighborhood in the city of Birmingham is a farmer, businessman and politician.
Emmanuel-Jones has against all odds, with grit, hard work and perseverance grown The Black Farmer® into a multi-million dollar business which is now a national brand in Britain and looking to expand into the Caribbean – starting with Jamaica.
Emmanuel-Jones has been and continues to be involved in setting up the Black Farmer Scholarship, which intends to assist and encourage ethnic minorities to work in the rural community, an area where traditionally they have been under represented in Britain and Europe at large.
Prior to his setting up The Black Farmer®, Emmanuel-Jones had worked in the British Army, and worked in television as a director/ producer for 15 years.
Emmanuel-Jones in a member of the Conservative Party of Britain and was unsuccessful in his run as a member of parliament for he Chippenham riding in the United Kingdom’s 2010 general election.
