Antigua & Barbuda: Newly elected Prime Minister Gaston Browne names his cabinet

Newly elected Prime Minister Gaston Browne has named a 10 member cabinet that was sworn into office by Governor General Dame Louise Lake-Tack at her official residence on Wednesday.

The new cabinet includes:
– Robin Yearwood, who becomes Minister of Public Utilities, Civil Aviation and Transportation
– Asot Anthony Michael who becomes Minister of Tourism, Economic Development, Investment and Energy
– Molwyn Joseph who becomes Minister of Health and the Environment
– Eustace Sylvester Lake becomes Minister of Works and Housing
– Charles Fernandez becomes Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Trade

– Arthur Nibbs becomes the Minister of Agriculture, Lands and Barbuda Affairs
– Michael Brown becomes Minister of Education, Science and Technology
– Paul Chet Greene becomes Minister of Trade, Commerce and Industries, Sports, Culture, Community Services
– Samantha Nicole Marshall, the lone female in the cabinet becomes Minister of Social Transformation and Human Resource Development and
– Melville Nicholas becomes Minister of Information, Broadcasting Telecommunications and Information Technology. -(CMC)
