Former Congressman Julius Caesar (J.C.) Watts is the founder and senior partner of Oakcrest Capital Partners, LLC.

Oakcrest Capital Partners LLC., is a Washington DC-based private equity firm that specializes in investments in business services, healthcare services, manufacturing, and other diversified companies with enterprise values under US$100 million.

According to the firm’s website, Oakcrest Capital Partners LLC.,was founded to provide capital to family-owned businesses and their shareholders to support ownership transitions, management buyouts, recapitalizations and growth. The firm seeks to generate long-term capital appreciation by investing alongside seasoned management teams seeking to grow their businesses and accumulate wealth.

Mr. Watts is also the principal and chairman of the J.C. Watts Companies L.L.C./Watts Partners a corporate and government affairs consulting firm that he founded in 2002.

Watts has served in the U.S. congress from the fourth district of Oklahoma from January 1995 to January 2003, and he has also served as the Chairman of the House Republican Conference from 1999 to 2003.

Watts who also serves as a corporate director of Burlington Northern Santa Fe graduated from the University of Oklahoma in 1981 with a BA degree in Journalism. He has worked as an analyst on CNN and occasionally provides columns for various newspapers in the United States.
